Job Position-oriented Training/Global Training

Job Position-Oriented Training/Global Training provides opportunities to acquire the mindset required for global consolidated management, including the business practices and shared values necessary for Mitsui & Co. employees.
We also plan and implement Headquarter-hosted programs for employees of overseas offices and branches as well as overseas group companies, with the aim of meeting the increasingly important need for global management talent. For each job grade, we provide group training programs to give participants a deeper understanding of the core values that they need to share as Mitsui & Co. group employees and to strengthen their frontline capabilities in each region.

Objective-specific Training

Objective-specific training provides opportunities to acquire skills that will contribute to the implementation of Mitsui & Co. Group’s strategies. An extensive line-up of courses has been developed to meet various learning needs.
The Bussan Academy provides self-improvement opportunities to meet a wide range of learning needs through a balanced program of night courses and online courses in the fields for technical skills, human skills, and conceptual skills.
Participants in Mitsui & Co. Open College (MOC) programs learn about the reasons for decisions and the key components of project formation by vicariously experiencing business creation processes through specific case studies. The MOC also gives participants opportunities to expand their perspectives and move toward the exertion of comprehensive strengths.
